Il rilievo laser scanner
In un processo industrializzato che punta alla preparazione dei componenti principali del cappotto termico sismico all’interno dell’officina risulta di fondamentale importanza la conoscenza precisa del manufatto su cui andrà installato Duo System. Soltanto una precisione millimetrica, infatti, consente di industrializzare il processo di ingegneria-produzione-montaggio.
A tal proposito lo strumento che quotidianamente utilizziamo è il laser scanner 3D, che rileva digitalmente il manufatto definendo le coordinate spaziali x, y e z di ogni punto analizzato, con operazioni non invasive ed altamente precise.
La tecnologia si fonda sul concetto di intervallo temporale di un impulso laser infrarosso, ossia la differenza di tempo tra l’istante in cui lo strumento emette il segnale e quello in cui ritorna l’onda riflessa dopo aver “colpito” l’oggetto.
La quantità di dati che viene fuori dal rilievo laser scanner è molto elevata, e si rendono necessarie operazioni di elaborazione dati per scremare quelli ridondanti e condensare le “informazioni utili”.
Grazie a questo strumento si può ottenere un rilievo (sia geometrico che fotografico):
- rigoroso,
- completo,
- affidabile.
Inoltre, il raggio laser a seconda della riflettanza assegna un valore cromatico diverso al punto misurato, il che permette di differenziare il materiale anche a livello cromatico, agevolando la lettura interpretativa dei dati.
Sicuramente la tecnologia laser scanner è una delle più moderne e ci consente di ottenere ottimi risultati in tempi e costi ridotti, ma noi di Duo System crediamo molto nell’integrazione tra strumentazioni e tecniche di misura diverse, ciascuna con i propri pregi e difetti che ci consentono di avere la soluzione giusta ad ogni problema.
